Pessime traduzione - la scherma nascosta

Non riesco mai a capacitarmi di come sia stato possibile tradurre così orribilmente questo fantastico duello.
Il combattimento tra Inigo e l'uomo in nero nella versione originale fa riferimento a trattati di scherma tra i più accreditati dei secoli XVI e XVII soprattutto di autori italiani che nella traduzione spariscono abbassando immotivatamente il livello culturale della discussione.
Rocco Bonetti fu un capace schermidore presso la corte inglese.
Camillo Agrippa e Ridolfo Capo Ferro scrissero entrambi un trattato, rispettivamente Trattato di Scientia d'Arme e Gran simulacro dell’arte e dell'uso della scherma.
